Dr Huda Al-Foudri

Dr Huda Al-Foudri

Bio:

Dr Huda Alfoudri is a Consultant anaesthetist and Head of the department of anaesthesia, Critical Care & Pain Management at Adan Hospital Kuwait, since 2014.

She’s also the ECMO Centre Co-Director at the same hospital, since 2017 and has established the ECMO program in Kuwait as part of the Kuwaiti Ministry of Health initiative to establish ECMO service for the whole country. She also developed the leading retrieval service for the entire country, based in Adan Hospital.

Dr Alfoudri obtained her MBChB in 1988 from Leeds University following which she completed her postgraduate training in South East Scotland School of Anaesthesia and Welch School of anaesthesia during which she obtained the FCARCSI and CCT in anaesthesia.

She is a national Surveyor in the national accreditation program of health organisations in Kuwait ministry of health. She’s actively involved in resuscitation training &medical simulation. She is an ACLS instructor &an AHA training centre faculty (TCF).
