Bio:
Dr .Abdullah Al Zahrani is assistant professor of pediatrics and intensive care consultant working in Saudi Arabia , he received his Bachelor of medicine for the king Saud university in 2001 . he completed his residency training in Saudi Arabia and fellowship training at university of Toronto in Sick kids hospital in 2013 . following his fellowship , he was on faculty at king Saud university for health Science and attending pediatric intensive care physician at king Abdulaziz medical city at Jeddah where he is a director of pediatric ICU fellowship program .
His clinical expertise and main areas of research interest are ECMO and challenges of applying ECMO in developing countries . He has extensive experience in pediatric cardiac ICU and ECMO post cardiac surgery, working currently as section head of king Faisal cardiac center , national Guard . he is appointed recently as chair of pediatric ECLS chapter in SCCS .
He is passionate about charity mission around the world . Dr Zahrani serves routinely in international cardiac surgery missions since 2014 (as member of little heart surgery charity project ) he did more than 15 international volunteering missions working as pediatric cardiac intensivist .
